Garden Calendar
Thanks for viewing Ramona’s Garden Calendar. We’ve placed moon planting times for USDA Zone 4 and things we’re accomplishing for the season around the farm. We are a small farm that focuses on berries of all sorts: Blueberries, Strawberries, Haskap Berries, Raspberries and Blackberries.
We’ll also be planting garlic, bunch onions, beets, greens, turnips, asparagus and more. We’ll be adding to our orchard this year also, Honeycrisp apples, Samatsu and Duarte Plums along with Rival and Perfection Apricots.
Do you have blackberry canes for sale? If so how can I come and look/purchace?
I will have retail ready blackberry plants at the end of April. Yes, you can come by to see the plants. We will be ready for visitors the last week of April first week of May. Feel free to send me an email if you are looking for a specific species.
Happy Gardening!
I am looking or boysenberries? any thoughts?
Hi, Linnea! Are you asking for places to purchase the plants or are you asking for recommendations based on your location? The best way to reach us is to follow our Facebook page, https://www.facebook.com/CantaRanasFarm/, or email using our contact form, https://ramonasgardens.com/contact-zone4-plants/
Ciao!

Do you have strawberries and ras berries ready to pick at this time.
Hi, Randy! Sorry, we saw your comment too late. Our typical picking schedule is: HASKAP – Late May through Early July, RASPBERRY – July – Early August, STRAWBERRY – June through July (some years we may have crops until the first snow fall). Of course, the picking dates are weather dependent. You can also watch our Facebook page, https://www.facebook.com/CantaRanasFarm/, for updates. There are some years we take a sabbatical and allow the land to rest, mainly the produce areas. The best way to reach us is via email.
